Like I mentioned before, try to build the Imperial Shuttle in an open space as you will be working from many different piles of bricks and you don’t want them to get mixed up. The Stormtrooper is the same as seen in many other sets. ![]() The Imperial Officer is in all gray distinguished by the rank on his uniform. The Imperial Pilot is in all black, which I think this is the only set that he appears in with this version. Luke is in his black Jedi knight attire with a black right hand. The Darth Vader is the same version as in the Millennium Falcon set. The set comes with five minifigs which are, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Imperial Pilot, Imperial Officer, and a Stormtrooper. There are four instruction booklets included in a polybag with a cardboard backing so the booklets wouldn’t get wrinkled. I recommend a big table to spread out the pieces when assembling because there will be at least ten different piles. The bricks come in many bags, and when I say many, I mean many! The bags aren’t numbered but are organized very well. The set includes 2503 pieces and retails for $259.99, which is at $0.09/piece. Not really wanting to spend that much on a LEGO set but it was a deal that I couldn’t pass up. To my delight, there was a sale on for the LEGO Star Wars Imperial Shuttle. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 August 2021Around Christmas 2011, I was looking around different sites to see if there were sales going on at that time. Otherwise the set makes a good gift for most children or Lego Star Wars aficionado’ and as always with Lego, it is simply a high-quality toy that is very well presented. However keeping this in mind the figure selection, scale and the limited play features are a let-down. So in terms of minifigures, it’s only the Imperial Officer that is of interest, even though we have a few of him already as well.Īll in all, a decent iteration of an iconic vehicle that comes at an interesting price point. I can understand why they are included but and additional Imperial Guard would have been nice. I was quite discouraged by the figure selection of this set given that we van countless Luke’s and Vader’s. Furthermore two of these obligatory, but terrible stud shooters are included. The cargo hold / compartment can hold 2 minifigures, but not much more. ![]() Moreover limited play features are included. The consequence is that this shuttle looks a little small compared to say, our X-wings and Y-wings and certainly compared to the impressive and menacing Krennic Shuttle (75156). Moreover it borrows quite a few elements from the Landing Craft like the single-figure cockpit, which is a bit boring. Yet the body is of the same size as our much beloved Imperial Landing Craft (75221) while in practice this shuttle would be larger. The wings in their spread position look cool. The completed built is fairly impressive, and comes in the right proportions. With only the duplicate wings construction being bit tedious. The built of the 660 piece set was not too demanding for my seasoned 7-year old imperial officer, we completed the project in about 2.5 hours. ![]() This will prevent us from chasing the former Tyderium Shuttles (714) on Ebay- but only for a while. We have quite a collection of Lego Star Wars imperial gear and space ships but not much from Endor and certainly this shuttle is a cool addition to our collection. This s a neat scaled-down and therefore affordable version of an iconic spaceship.
